    This ordinance prohibits tobacco and vaping on town-owned property, including parks, buildings, and vehicles, to protect public health and provide smoke-free spaces.

  • Ordinance 22-4

    Ordinance 22-4 reflects a vote by Cedar Valley residents in August 2022 approving that the City Clerk and City Treasurer will be appointed by the Board of Trustees, rather than elected.

  • Ordinance 22-5

    Ordinance 22-5 amended Cedar Valley’s laws to make the City Clerk and City Treasurer appointed positions. An emergency clause allowed it to take effect immediately upon passage on August 1, 2022.

    Ordinance 23-2 prohibits vehicles from being parked off the pavement within Cedar Valley. Passed on July 10, 2023, it includes penalties for violations and took effect immediately.
